At Lipsky & Associates, Inc dba Equity Plus (“us,” “we,” “our,” or “The Company”) our commitment is to maintain your trust, confidence, and protect your privacy by safeguarding your data. To provide you with our service, we obtain and use your personal information and believe it to be exceptionally important for you to understand our policy on privacy. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with privacy regulations. This policy outlines your rights regarding our collection, use, and sharing of your personal information.

Scope

This policy applies to Lipsky & Associates, Inc.’s websites, domain, and general operations. This Privacy Policy applies when you interact with us by doing any of the following activities. 1) Enrolling in the Equity Plus Program or any other service offered by the company. 2) Visit our websites that link to this Privacy Policy. 3) Send or receive any communication from us including calls, electronic, or written correspondence including mobile devices. You accept this Privacy Policy when you enroll, access, or utilize our services or content regardless of the method you use.

Personal Information We Collect

When you enroll, or attempt to enroll in the Equity Plus Program, we may collect the following types of public and non-public personal information (NPI) about you to provide, administer, and/or service your program:

Public information: name, mailing and property address, email address, and phone number. Non-public information (NPI): date of birth, mortgage loan information, social security number, and ACH information. Information we receive from you on applications or other forms. Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others.

If you provide us with Personal Data of other individuals, you represent that you have the authority to do so and acknowledge it will be used in accordance with this Policy. If you believe your data was provided to us improperly, or to exercise your rights relating to personal data, please contact us as outlined in the Contact Us Section below.

Use of Personal Data

We collect and use both public and non-public data you provided and consented to, for the purpose of performing our services. We may disclose, as permitted by the law, public and non-public data collected for the sole purpose of conducting our services. This can include your name, mortgage information, and ACH information that perform servicing and administrative functions on our behalf. The companies that act on our behalf and receive Customer Information from us are contractually obligated to keep the information we provide to them confidential, and to use the Customer Information we share only to provide the services requested. These companies may include financial services or non-financial providers. This sharing of information is crucial in the administration of the services you enrolled in so sharing of this information cannot be limited.

We may offer additional products that may be of interest to you from joint-affiliated and non-affiliated companies, however we do not share or sale your public information or NPI with those companies unless you provide consent by enrolling in those additional product offerings or service or provide consent to share your public information that may include name, mailing or property address, phone number and email address. If you wish to opt out of the marketing of additional products by our company, you can contact our Customer Service Department to modify your preferences.

Mobile Devices

If you have furnished your mobile number as a method of contact, you authorize us to call or text message (SMS) you at that mobile phone number. If you do not wish us to contact you via your mobile device, please contact the company’s Customer Service Department, and provide an alternate contact number.

Website

When you interact with The Company’s websites through any source, including mobile devices, technologies are deployed that collect and store analytical information about visitors to the site like location, channel used to reach the website, and session duration. No personally identifiable information is collected that could identify a visitor to the site. Our site does not require registration to navigate most sections of the site. As a consumer you may elect to enroll into our program via the site that will require registration. The information we collect through this interaction is obtained by your input and may contain public information like name, mailing and property address, phone number, and email address in addition to NPI like date of birth, mortgage loan information, social security number, and ACH information. Your input is the only information that is collected and stored in addition to the analytical visitor information outlined in this paragraph. Our services are only available in the United States.

Security of Personal Information

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal regulations. These measures include physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. 

Future Changes

We may modify this policy at any time. If we amend this policy, we will notify you either electronically or by mail, and update the website as required by law.

Complaints and Disputes

You have a right to dispute errors in your transaction. If you think there is an error, contact our Customer Service Department at (800) 361-1205 within 180 days of the transaction. You can also contact us for a written explanation of your rights. If you have a complaint regarding The Company’s money transmission activities, contact our Customer Service Department first.
